Before company arrived, cousin John said he'd take Deon for a spin in his Volvo convertible & even let him drive it!!! Brave man.
On Thursday evening, Mom's cousins came over to John & Jeannette's (we were staying at her cousin John's house). We met Jake & Aileen, Case & Hettie, Oom Jerry, and John's Mom. We had a great time listening to old stories from times they visited Grandma & Grandpa Bakker's farm, teaming up at the time with Aunt Marian & Aunt Jackie.
After they all left at about 11:00 pm, we sat & had a glass of wine yet with John & Jeannette & prepared to leave the next morning.
